อาคารสารนิเทศ 50 ปี เป็นอาคารสูง 10 ชั้น จัดสร้างขึ้นในวาระครบรอบ 50 ปี มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และเริ่มเข้าใช้อาคารเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2540ส่วนบนดาดฟ้ามีธงชาติผืนใหญ่เพื่อเป็นการประกาศ เฉลิมฉลองการ ก้าวเข้าสู่ทศวรรษที่ 7 ของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ปัจจุบันอาคารแห่งนี้ใช้เป็นอาคารบริหารและสำนักงานอธิการบดี
